PE Enrichment Pledge – Waseley Hills High School

PE enrichment is a key strength of Waseley Hills High School, providing students with a vibrant and inclusive programme that extends their physical development, confidence, and enjoyment of sport beyond the curriculum. Our offer is designed to give every student the chance to participate, compete, improve, and discover new interests in a supportive and energetic environment.

Throughout the year, we run a wide range of after‑school PE clubs including netball, rugby, basketball, and multi‑sports/futsal. These sessions encourage teamwork, resilience, and physical wellbeing, and give students of all abilities the opportunity to be active, learn new skills, and engage with sport in a fun and positive way. The programme evolves termly to reflect student interest and seasonal opportunities.

In addition to our weekly enrichment schedule, PE enrichment plays an important role in promoting healthy lifestyles, social development, and personal achievement. Students are encouraged to take on leadership roles such as warm‑up leaders, sports helpers, or team representatives—building confidence and interpersonal skills that benefit them across school life

We are pleased to announce that our PE Enrichment Clubs will be starting next week at Waseley Hills. These clubs offer pupils a great chance to stay active, build confidence, and take part in a variety of enjoyable sports after school. 

All clubs will run from 3:30–4:15pm, with Netball on Tuesday (Mrs Bridgeman), Rugby on Wednesday (Mr Rogers), Basketball on Thursday (Mrs Hill), and Futsal or Multi Sports on Friday (Mr Mason).
