GCSE Assessment Information

We use Pearson GCSE Maths (Edexcel 9–1) 

Number of exams: 3 papers taken at the end of the course.
Exam length: Each paper is 1 hour 30 minutes.
Paper 1: non-calculator; Papers 2 & 3: calculator allowed.
All three papers contribute equally to the final grade – no coursework
The exams are tiered with Foundation covers up to grade 5; Higher covers a broader range up to grade 9.
