GCSE Assessment Information
We use Pearson GCSE Maths (Edexcel 9–1)
•Number of exams: 3 papers taken at the end of the course.
•Exam length: Each paper is 1 hour 30 minutes.
•Paper 1: non-calculator; Papers 2 & 3: calculator allowed.
•All three papers contribute equally to the final grade – no coursework
•The exams are tiered with Foundation covers up to grade 5; Higher covers a broader range up to grade 9.
