Following from the SEND coffee morning on 16^th September, we have further had a productive Parent Engagement Slime Workshop, delivered by Alison from the WORC county. Our SEND team were able to interact with the 18 families on a 1:1 basis to discuss the transition to their new year group, barriers to learning and also understanding the Graduated Waves Approach to discuss support socially and emotionally whilst the children enjoyed the sensory activities. It was lovely to see many parent carers engaging with each other to form a Parent Network, which we will continue with. Our next Parent Carer engagement will be on Friday 17^th November from 9am until 10.30am, the theme will be Mental Wellbeing and how to support your child.
