It was lovely to see our SEND Key Stage 3 and 4 learners and parent carers today for the Slime workshop, led by Alison (Worcestershire Local Authority) to go through support for families and children based on their needs and barriers. This was also an excellent platform for parent carers to share their experiences and offer support to each other. Later on in the morning, we had some of our Year 6 parent carers join with our new cohort of SEND learners where families felt assured and supported. Ms Craciun, Director of SEND, Mrs Joshi, Assistant SENDCo and Head of Year and Mrs Coalter, Assistant SENDCo, was also able to have 1 to 1 meeting with families and update their child's SEND learning plan and offer further support, where required.
