GCSE Assessment Information
Your course is split into 3–1 piece of coursework in Year 10 and an exam and coursework in Year 11.
- R058 – Create a safe environment and understand the nutritional needs of children from birth to five years. Coursework in Year 10 is worth 30%.
- R059 – Understand the development of a child from birth to five years. Coursework in Year 11 is worth 30%
- R057 – Health and well-being for child development. Examination at the end of Year 11, the paper is 1 hour 15 minutes long, 70 marks and worth 40%.
